When the stinky Swamp Monster returns, an imaginative boy uses his monster-stopper kit to protect his home and family. A humorous picture book which celebrates the blurry lines between inventiveness and reality.

My Comments: My second graders and I enjoyed this book. It has a small twist which made us laugh. At first it seems like possibly a Halloween book, but really it could be read all year. The artwork is kid-friendly. It made my students think about their siblings and cousins. I recommend this book — very cute!

I received a free copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, which I have given.
