I enjoyed the first 3 books – Potluck Club – but the Catering Club, “Secret’s in the Sauce” I don’t. The characters are unraveling. The pillars in the faith at the beginning are now turning to booze. Donna, good grief, went from a young woman to a ditzy teenager between the 2 guys! And David – dating the immoral tramp of a sister to somehow win Donna?? Are you kidding? I think it is because 2 woman are writing one book and don’t have any idea where the other one is trying to take the characters, so they are all foundering in the name of trying to sell another book.

Sounds like a great book. I'm with you on the "Pray and Eat" theme. Inviting God to the table is such a lovely idea and reminds me of a book I've just finished and REALLY enjoyed, even more than I expected. It's a memoir and inspirational self-help book for women by Rosemary Trible, a Christian mother, former beauty pageant winner, Congressman's wife and so much more titled Fear to Freedom. She tells her inspiring story and that of other women who overcame horrific situations including rape, debilitating car accidents, loss of children, racism, and prostitution through prayer and service to others.

This sounds similar to the Yada Yada prayer group and I love that series. Thanks for the recommendation! I will check them out.

This sounds like a series I would enjoy. I will keep these in mind. I’ve been meaning to read more Christian Fiction, and these sound really good. Great review.
