I really don’t care for reality shows. The closest I come to that would be Cops, or something similar. Sorry!
November 3rd, 2008 at 11:32 pm
Oh wow! I read a library copy of this but I would absolutely love to read it again, it was such a great read! I am not really into reality TV but I do enjoy watching Meerkat Manor and other DiscoveryTV style shows.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway
November 4th, 2008 at 12:01 am
This would be wonderful. As for reality shows I love American Idol the closest to a reality show I watch. Thank you!
November 4th, 2008 at 12:24 am

I’m not really into reality shows, but I love Supernanny. I guess that’s reality TV, right? This sounds like a good book.
November 4th, 2008 at 3:10 am
I am a reality show JUNKIE! They only thing that has saved me was becoming a book review blogger… kid you not. OK… the list:
The Bachelor/Bachelorette
Real World
Dancing With The Stars
So You Think You Can Dance
Tori Spelling’s Show: Tori & Dean
Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List
The Biggest Loser
The Amazing Race
Home MakeOver
And, that’s just on the top of my head. I think that the premise for this book is AWESOME and had only wished that I had thought of it! I MUST MUST MUST be chosen (fingers crossed… begging). Well, I’m very hopeful.
Put me in!

November 4th, 2008 at 3:23 am
i’m not a reality show fan either, to me they are scary if they are real but i always console myself that it’s really a show and rehearsed and noone would really do these things! (lie, steal, cry…) though if cooking shows or travel show are also in reality t.v., then those i LOVE. jamie oliver and lonely planet are a few of my favorites. oh, is the compelte makeover, home edition.

I talked not too long ago about my secret obsession with Survivor, even though I vehemently tell people I am done with it…I continue to get sucked in.
I will watch the Amazing Race once in a while, but I really am looking forward to the new one on SciFi–Estate of Panic where each week, a new group of contestants enter the estate searching for money hidden inside of booby-trapped rooms.

I’m a reality TV junkie, and sadly, its not even the good kind (like Amazing Race). I watch Girls Next Door pretty obsessively (I know, its bad) and pretty much the whole Bravo competition line-up: Project Runway, Top Chef, Top Design. And I love American Idol. I used to watch America’s Next Top Model, but I don’t have time anymore. I also watch Mythbusters, though I don’t know if that counts.
November 5th, 2008 at 12:28 pm
I love Project Runway! Otherwise, I sometimes watch the biggest loser and americas next top model… LOL
November 5th, 2008 at 1:01 pm

I also like Dancing With the Stars, The Hills (I know…), Jon & Kate Plus 8, and The Biggest Loser. Those are just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Pick Me! Pick Me! I would love to win a book.
To be honest I don’t really like Reality shows… I personally think they are more adapted for people who don’t have lives of their own,so they become involved in other peoples lives! We are however avid readers.
My husbands favorite author is Stephen King. I have two favorites: James Patterson and Mary Higgins Clark.
I am currently reading WHAT YOUR 1ST GRADER NEEDS TO KNOW by E.D. HIRSCH
It’s very kind of you to offer such a great giveaway, its rare that I see giveaways for people like us (avid readers).
Count me in too please.
Thanks

I must admit I don’t watch mutch TV but I watch American Idol. I usually record it and watch a few shows at one sitting! I also tape Dog the Bounty Hunter.
